The implementation of this project has achieved remarkable results.
Firstly, in terms of power supply stability, the new power supply system with the Energy Storage System has effectively improved the reliability of power supply in the mine area, reducing power outages and voltage fluctuations.
Secondly, in terms of cost, by reducing the use of diesel generators during peak load through energy storage, the fuel cost has been significantly reduced. In the long run, the planned construction of wind and solar power generation systems will further reduce production costs.
Thirdly, this project has established CEEC’s competitive advantage in the field of integrated energy microgrids and grid – forming energy storage in Africa, laying a solid foundation for the “Going Global Again” strategy. It has also opened up a new model of energy supply for African mining areas, providing valuable experience for similar projects in the future.
