Project Context

   In recent years, Guangdong Province has actively responded to the national clean energy development strategy, vigorously promoting the construction of the offshore wind power industry with the aim of establishing a ten – million – kilowatt – class offshore wind power base in western Guangdong

  • The Xuwen Dong'er Offshore Wind Power Project in Zhanjiang emerged in this context. Located in the sea area east of Jinhe Town, Xuwen County, Zhanjiang City, this provincial key construction project has a total installed capacity of 300 MW
  • Due to the influence of natural conditions, offshore wind power generation is intermittent and volatile, posing challenges to the stable supply of electricity
  • To address this issue, CEEC introduced an advanced Energy Storage System to ensure the stable output of electricity for the project.
